The news that everyone has been waiting for that Club MTV is to return to the city this summer.
There has been rumors and speculation recently as Derry Vibe announced the news a few weeks ago that the event could be returning to Derry-Londonderry after we heard from an official source that "Club MTV would be back in 2016".
We now can confirm that Club MTV is coming back this summer and is currently in the planning stages.
According to reports that the events could run over 2 nights and it's understood that the first headline act could be announced within the next 2 weeks.

Organizers of the event Legacy Promotions have said in a statement .“MTV has developed a great relationship with Derry and they are looking forward to coming back again in 2016
“We are currently in talks with several big names and we are sure that tickets will go like hot cakes when they go on release.
“If everything goes according to plan the Club MTV event will be MTV’s biggest DJ event this year.
A lot of names have been speculating recently including Martin Garrix, Steve Angello,Steve Aoki and Nicky Romero. But no official announcements on any line up yet.
"We can’t go into details at the minute but one thing is for sure, the act that will be headlining this concert will draw music fans from all over Ireland.” Spokesperson added, so that be something to look forward to later this year.
