Just after the Christmas holidays and in a shock announcement this week that Cafe Del Mondo is to close it's doors for good, which comes a shock to a lot of locals and fans of the cafe.
Cafe Del Mondo was popular local cafe where previously it was based on Shipquay Street in which later moved to Craft Village a few years ago.
The popular Cafe Del Mondo always a favorite with local's and tourists visiting from around the world to the cities Craft Village which has always been a popular spot to eat for lunch or evening dinners.
But on Monday afternoon they posted on Facebook to let everyone know about the closure with the following message "It's with a sad and heavy heart that we announce the closure of Cafe del Mondo.
Due to unfortunate circumstances we leave you at the beginning of 2016, after seven years of happiness and love, both in the Craft Village and in Guildhall Square.
