Mayor Cllr Elisha McCallion has praised everyone involved in the Club MTV event that took place at Ebrington on Saturday hailing it as a huge success for the city.
“The gig on Saturday was amazing, it was a fantastic event and everyone really enjoyed it. It was a great opportunity for young people from all over the city and district to see live music acts such as Mim and Liv Nervo of Nervo, Swedish electronic due, Galantis, and Nottingham based DJ Philip George performing live on their doorstep.
“I would like to extend my congratulations to the local events company Legacy Promotions for securing the gig and a big thank you to all the agencies and organisations who helped out to make it such a success. Derry is an ideal location for large scale events and we hope to see events of this scale coming back again in the future,” she said.
