Thousands of kids and families came out in the cold windy weather on Thursday Night to catch a glimpse of Santa and all festivities taken place in Guildhall Square throughout Thursday Evening.
It was a cold November Thursday evening but still the city turns out in their thousands to see Santa officially turn on Derry's Christmas lights and along with some special guests including cast of Frozen performed in Waterloo Place. The Mayor of Derry and Strabane joined Santa on stage to celebrate the lights switch on along with her children, as well as the members of local charity Jamie’s Journie.
